The Horizon Team
Horizon Property Group is a limited liability corporation with two principals: Brady Clements, who serves as President and Derrick Christy, who serves as Chief Financial Officer.
Horizon Property Group also employs a talented and dedicated team of construction and maintenance professionals, and outsources select specialty services to premier local vendors.
Brady Clements
President
A former insurance executive with over 20 years of sales experience, Mr. Clements left his successful business insurance career to pursue commercial real estate. As president and managing member of Horizon Property Group, Mr. Clements performs the sales functions for the company as well as leasing, lease negotiations and on-going client contact. Mr. Clements manages the construction and maintenance staff of Horizon Property Group and enjoys overseeing all construction projects. Mr. Clements lives with his wife and four children in the Center Grove area. He is a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church and coaches many youth sports programs in the area.
Derrick Christy
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Christy holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and managing member of Horizon Property Group. He also owns and manages Approved Mortgage Corporation and Jena Mae Corporation. In addition, Mr. Christy serves as CFO of Distance Learning Systems. Mr. Christy’s extensive financial background makes him invaluable to the Horizon Property Group team. In addition to serving as CFO, Mr. Christy oversees the front office staff and Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel. Mr. Christy resides in the Center Grove area with his wife and two children. He is a member of Emmanuel Church in Greenwood and is a board member of the Johnson County Community Foundation and has been recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal, as a “40 Under 40” business leader.
Brian Bischoff
Real Estate Holding Partner
Brian Bischoff is a financial consultant for Wachovia Securities and serves in an advisory role for Horizon Property Group. Although he is not a managing member, Mr. Bischoff is a partner in the real estate holdings of the company.
JD Gentry
Director of Operations
JD Gentry serves as the Director of Operations for Horizon Property Group where he is responsible for all outside labor and the oversight of outside contractors. Mr. Gentry has over 14 years experience in Residential Construction with J. Gregg Allen Builders where he oversaw the construction of hundreds of custom homes in his capacity as job supervisor. He also has six years of experience on the supply side with Carter Lee Lumber. Mr. Gentry is the father of three and a member of Grace Point church in Whiteland, IN.
